Payment terms

To reserve a Bukuu Teardrop Pod, The Bukuu Yurt or The Yurkee, a deposit of 50% is required at time of booking. Confirmation will be sent to you via email once funds have cleared. Full payment, along with a refundable damage deposit of £100, is required at least 4 weeks before the start of your hire date, unless otherwise arranged. We will send you a reminder via email and text/phone. If payment is not received and you have not contacted us, your reservation is liable to be cancelled, and your deposit will not be refunded.

Late Payments

If payment has not being received in full 30 days after the agreed payment date, a 10% charge will apply.

Cancellation Policy/Refunds

If due to unforeseen circumstances, cancellation is necessary, the following conditions apply:-

Deposits are refundable within 14 days of booking.

Cancellations made after 14 days of booking, deposit will become non-refundable.

No refund will be made if the booking is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the hire start date/event.

In the unlikely event of Bukuu being unable to provide the service due to cancellation of the festival/event through no fault of our own, due to weather; flooding, acts of terrorism, or other causes, the same cancellation policies will apply.

Clients are expected to take out their own insurance against such possibilities.


All equipment hired remains the property of BuKuu.

A £100 deposit covers loss or damage to any part of Bukuu property. This is fully refundable providing no damage/loss is caused.


It is the responsibility of the hirer to insure against loss or damage of personal equipment or personal injury. Bukuu will accept no liability whatsoever for loss or damage to possessions, accidents resulting in personal injury or death, the hirer must accept full responsibility. Children must be supervised at all times.
